Over the past few months, many farms and shepherds have complained of their livestock vanishing, or finding them mauled. The baron of the local keep has sent a battalion of soldiers out to root out the cause, and to quell the farmer’s fears. With the heavy frost this season, many are worried of an inevitable famine on the rise. The guards have tracked a ‘wild beast’ to Stony River Caverns. Situated just on the riverbank, the mouth of the cave is surrounded with a small bank and a small waterfall not too far off into the distance. The guards have an encampment set up outside to keep anyone else from going in, and anything from coming out.

This adventure is designed for characters from 2nd – 4th level. The adventure contains the setting and background for what is happening, random encounters for the players to come across during their journey, a dungeon for the players to explore, along with rules for becoming a werewolf!
